New Car

Hi Everyone,

Kelly told me to blog as there are people on this blog that are (Green),
Saturday I bought a new white Prius with sparkles in the paint and a cool
50 miles per gallon.

I'm sorry I'm such a poor blogger but I'm a busy blogger. Pa's eye is about
98 per cent better and the Tuesday after Thanksgiving he is going in for surgery
on his shoulder. Although today his back went out so he is on a heating pad.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving. It will be fun to see everyone.

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP

WELL, SINCE I HAVEN'T BLOGGED IN SO LONG I THINK EVERYONE WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS ONE.
PROBABLY NO ONE WILL READ IT. SHAME ON ME.
PA GOT HOME FROM A BEAR HUNT FRIDAY NIGHT. IT WAS TOO HOT UP NORTH 101 AND NO AIR.
NO BEAR & NO FUN. WELL, MAYBE A LITTLE FUN.
SATURDAY I RENTED THE BLACKBERRY HOUSE AND ON SATURDAY NIGHT PA SOLD A TRACTOR. WE HAD TO DELIVER IT TO CLINTONVILLE, PA. IT WAS A TWO HOUR DRIVE. THINGS DIDN'T GO WELL FOR PA ON THE WAY THERE HE FORGET HIS KEYS. HE WAS AFRAID THE TRACTOR WOULDN'T START AFTER HE FOUND OUT THEY HADN'T STARTED IT IN AWHILE. AND THERE WAS A LEAK OF OIL ON THE TRACTOR. SO OFF WE WENT TO CLINTONVILLE. WE GOT LOST EVEN WITH JANE AND I HAD TO CALL THE GUY TO HELP ME GET THERE. JANE DOES NOT KNOW ALL THE ROADS IN CLINTONVILLE. WELL WE GOT THERE AND WE PULLED INTO AN AMISH HOUSE AND DAD ASKED FOR MARVIN AND LO AND BEHOLD IT WAS HIS TRACTOR BUYER. I SAID TO MARVIN ARE YOU ALLOWED TO HAVE A TRACTOR. PA GULPED. HE HE HA HA. WELL MARVIN TOLD ME HE COULD. I'M NOT SURE YET & I'LL TELL YOU WHY LATER.

I HAVE TO INSERT THE ANSWER HERE. THE GIRLS TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD TO MOW THEIR LAWN BY HAND PUSH MOWER THAT THE TRACTOR THEIR DAD WAS BUYING COULD NOT BE USED ON THE LAWN ONLY ON THE PATHS IN THE WOODS. THEIR DAD WAS A HOT ROD ON THE TRACTOR.

WELL, WHILE THE GUYS CHECKED OUT THE TRACTOR AND PA, THE AMISH GUY AND HIS SON I HAD THREE LITTLE AMISH GIRLS TALKING TO ME. THE OLDEST ONE WAS SARAH, VERY PRETTY. THE SEVEN YEAR OLD WAS KRISTINA, CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE WAS SMILING AT ME ALL THE TIME. SARAH SAID SHE IS VERY GOOD WHEN PEOPLE ARE AROUND BUT SHE IS A MICHIEF MAKER WHEN THEY ARE GONE. (I KNEW THAT JUST BY HER NAME) THE YOUNGEST WAS CLARA WHO COULDN'T KEEP HER EYES OFF ME. THEY WERE THE SAME BLUE EYES THAT I HAVE. THEY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT COLOR MY HAIR WAS AND I TOLD THEM THAT MY HAIR USED TO BE BROWN JUST LIKE THEIRS. THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WISHED THEIR HAIR WAS BLACK.
NOW WE EXCHANGED STORIES ABOUT FARMING - HUNTING IN WHYOMING - PLAYING - DRESSING - EATING - SCHOOL - HORSES AND PONIES - FOOD = SHOPPING. PULLING THEIR SISTER IN WAGONS. SWIMMING. CHRISTMAS & THANKSGIVING. I HAD THE BEST TIME I GRINNED AND LAUGHED ALL THE WAY HOME.

NOW IF ELYSE AND EVE WOULD LIKE TO GO VISIT THEM WHEN THEY ARE HERE PA WILL CALL THEIR DAD AND SEE IF WE CAN GO OVER.

I READ KATIE'S POST AND LOOKED A KAYLA'S PICTURE AND JUST GRINNED. ENJOY KATIE
PA WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HAD THE COLD AIR IN CANADA.

LOLO AND GRAMMA BROWN JOINED US AT MEXICO FOR LUNCH FOR KRIS'S BIRTHDAY. WE ALL ENJOYED IT. I AM GOING TO WORK MEMEORIAL DAY SO THAT I CAN MAKE THE DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS WE HAVE ON THURSDAY. BUT THE BEST PART OF THAT IS THAT WE WILL JOIN KATHY AND MARK AND LOLO FOR LUNCH. HOT DOGS ON THE GRILL VEGAN STYLE!
WE ARE PICKING LAUREN UP AT HER FRIENDS IN THE MORNING SO I WILL HAVE GREAT COMPANY ON MY WAY TO WORK. YEA!

Eclipse

Well, I really did love the third book of the twilight series. I stayed up way to late to finish it. Pa didn't like it much since I didn't talk to him while I had my nose it the book. I still am waiting to see New Moon at the movies. By the way have any of you girls watched Eastwick on television at 10:00 on Wednesday night. I enjoy it. I do not know what I'm allowed to blog about I'm excited to shop for houses but it might be over. I orderd Elyse and Eva's Christmas present and it should be delivered in three to eight days. I want pictures! Kathy said she likes big doors. I told her to wait till she see's Kelly's. I am going to miss everyone for Christmas but I am looking forward to Eva's birthday. Of course it will be Katie and Laurens also. But for now Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

WE SURE HAD A GREAT TIME. I HAD A NICE TIME MONDAY WITH KATHY FINDING HER NEW HOUSE.
TOO BAD WE COULDN'T GET IN. KATIE BROUGHT HOME TWILIGHT SO WE SPENT MONDAY NIGHT
WATCHING A GREAT LOVE STORY. LOTS OF WORK THIS WEEK. HOPE KATHY ENJOYS HER CHRISMAS
AS IT ARRIVED ON HER PORCH TODAY. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.

New Moon

Ok all you twilight fans of mine. I want to announce that I read New Moon so now I am ready to see the movies. Blackberry house is getting closer. I should be working now but I'm not. I'm excited for Sunday. It sounds like a great day.
Christmas and Thanksgiving all rolled into one. Fun Fun Fun! Monday I will be
in Cleveland and we will have lunch at Panara Bread. One of my girls will be there, opps two of my girls will be there. Love to all!

A SURPRISE

Now a lot of people like surprises but not me. My children like to surprise me and now my grandchildren like to surprise me. So I guess; I get help to find out what my surprise is but then I did not think it was a surprise but more of announcement. Sometimes my imagination gets a little far out, it so appears. Now one would think that all the people involved to make a surprise would keep my thoughts a secret but that is not so. Everyone knows what my surprise is and everyone knows what I think the surprise is. Except me I knew nothing! Now I'll have to admit it was a nice surprise. I am sure glad I made time for it to happen. Of course if I had known what the surprise was I'm sure I would have enjoyed it just as much. All in all thanks for making my life more interesting. My life just sparkles with three caret diamonds. A great time was enjoyed by all.

Another Update!

Well, the Blackberry house is coming along. Pa is working hard on it and trys to get something else done everyday. On the other hand I've been too busy to do much. I still have a lot of caulking to do.

Pa won the High Veteran Title for the summer league. He also won the preseason shoot for the league. He won two trophy's. This was his best season ever. I'm very proud of him = I on the other hand got nothing. These were presented at a banquet.

We have been having a lot of shoots even though the summer shoots are over. I am ready to slow down. But that is not happening.

I saw Amy Rockhill today at Mexico. She is one hot chick. Slim and Sharp.

I saw Shawn also today he could be her father.

Yes We Went to Austin!

I haven't blogged since We went to Austin so I thought I'd start with that blog and catch everyone up on a great vacation.

We had a lovely dinner somewhere high over looking Austin and the Lake. Pa enjoyed his steak on his seventy birthday. He is now officially old!

We enjoyed Elyse and Eva and had a great trip to Sea world. Only on the way out did we realize how much more we could have seen. I guess that leaves way for another trip! Eva and Gram ma Pat are naughty girls & I think we will leave it at that. We really had a great time. Eva & I enjoyed a great four hour nap but the downside was I slept through Elyse's riding lesson. I
really thought Eva did so great in ballet but I hear she has put that on the back burner for now.

Elyse was a little ill so her and Pa did not get as many trips after school and as they would have liked. I think they enjoyed their banana splits.

Our trip was shorter than usual as we arrived later and left earlier. We will have to fix that next time. Eva enjoyed Cabella's & Pa and Kelly did very well on their shopping. We also tested some awesome fudge. I'm glad we were there to see the house almost done so I understand everything Kelly is telling me.

I would recommend everyone flying to Austin to go through Nashville as it is a very friendly airport if you are flying Southwest. Next time I will have a longer stay over as to get to enjoy a little time with Katie.

Upon arriving home we had our Union Gun Shoot the next day. I might brag as I was the only one of our group to bring home a gun. I won Ladies. There were not a lot of ladies in this finale shoot but they were good shooters and I shot a 92 out of 100 to win this class.

Well, Katie painted today and only Pa got to enjoy her company as I had to run around taking Kris places and doing the job thing. They did some more woodwork done but Katie I'll have to make pa take off the quarter round. It was great that she came out because I'd have had to give her Christmas present some other time. Maybe mailed it after she got lost on her way to Nashville.

It is hard to believe school is already starting. It is hard to believe that we have more work on the house. We are going away with Norm & Cricket on friday. So we are taking a day off. We are going to Cabella's in West Virginia and probably stopping by the casino. I think it is a one day trip but we maybe staying overnight(not sure)

It is 1:00 AM and I'm just getting my work done. Well back to the grind.

I lost a post into cyber space!

So I will try again. Saturday Lauren came at 8:30 and was ready to go to work. I had six windows ready to paint and only two more to prep and she had to wait for me to get my work done. Can that girl paint.

Now I need my girls back to do the baseboard work in the dining room and living room. I sure
hope they stop by tuesday! Well today we shot at the Albion Corn Shoot and I didn't do much. Pa on the other hand took home the Vet trophy. It is on the mantel and it looks real sharp. Wish that there were a matching pair on the mantel but there is only one.

I'm taking gramma Brown to the Doctor to get some things removed from her arms. I'll be leaving in the morning but I can be reached by car phone.

I NEED WORKERS!

Well, today we painted some more. Pa is working in the basement hallway and I'm prepping windows. Only two left to prep. I need window painters! Remember they are WHITE! Katie you didn't get the quarter rounds off the dining room. You really need to come back and get that off of the walls (you know that is your job.

Shot tonight in a wind storm and then after we shot the rain came. Pa did great with a 47 and I
did bad with a 39. Our club won so we only have one more team to beat before the shoot off.

I wonder when lolo is coming out! Haven't heard yet. Hope she brings Katie with her.

Our Katie!

Well this weekend started pretty normal. I had volunteered to take my Indian friends to
Grove City since I didn't have to go to Youngstown. It was a long day and I'm tired after
a 9 to 6 trip. On the other hand my workers - Pa - Katie - & Lauren worked a whole 2 hours. I guess they were just too tired.
Day 2 (Saturday-The slave driver gets them up and 9 and after getting supplies at the store we were ready to get started. Lauren said, "I want to finish the windows in the basement, & I thought this was a great idea. Pa had stayed at McDonald's to talk to a friend. Katie was in the kitchen getting ready to paint and I had went back to the car to get something. It is Texas hot today & as I came back into the kitchen Kate is standing in a pool of paint (the paint was up to her knees sort of like a criss cross desige) the can in her handand saying Lauren and Pa did not put the lid on. The long water hose was also entangled in this scene. I said Katie, I'll get the water hose out of your way so I gathered it up and took it outside to clean up. Of course Lauren
had joined this mess & so when I came back in I told her she was probably better off back in the basement and she agreed and quickly disappeared. In the mean time Katie called Pa and asked him out to clean up paint on the floor & he told her to mop it up but the next thing she said was, No Pa I Mean a Lot Of Paint! He advised her to get a big paint brush and a dust pan and sweep it into it and throw it a way. Yes the day didn't start to well but my kitchen floor is getting cleaner all the time.
A friend from Albion stopped by to look at the house and was advised to wait for the cleanup to get along a little more. My hose is cleaner & whiter and that is a good thing. Our day got started
and we really do not know for sure who left the paint can lid loose. I'm sure Katie knows who did it. Now our Katie does not swear and she never has a temper I think we all would agree to this but (I think she does have a temper and I think her swear word might be (Lauren Lauren Lauren) With a Pa thrown in there as well.

Well the sad part of the day is that our girls are gone. They took their money and left. They thanked us for the job & I know they worked hard and learned some new skills the help to us was beyond great. We will never forget this summer! It was wonderful !!!!! I just keep hoping they will come back and paint the windows. hint

Now it is Sunday - Team shoot in Saegertown. I put $5.00 on Pa for high gun. I did not tell him because I didn't want to put pressure on him. I should have! He shot a 46 - which included a handicap shoot. So he shot well and tied for second on the high gun and won $3.75. I think I lost but it was fun. I only shot a 41, I struggled all day. It was too hot and rough way to go. We had a great dinner but no air conditioning.

Well, Monday is coming. Love You Katie!! You make my days!

Good news - Bad news

Oh What a day today! We were up and away at 9:30 our painters were sleeping except of
one who manage to talk on the phone and scare her Pa.

We arrived at Bay City around eleven and decided to shoot after twelve. Pa shot his 49 and I shot a 46. His was good enough for shoot off for Hi Union Gun and the shoot off for AA class and he also had a shoot of for Veterans Class. Well he shot well for Hi Union and came in second as he finally dropped a bird. Then he shot of for high AA class against the best shooters in the league and he was the WINNER! I took Hi Lady.

This was accomplished while talking to Katie and Lauren about our house getting broke into. I was going to come home but they managed to deal with the police and so again they had a day of no painting. Harland called the guy who put the door in and he came a boarded it up. We stopped by and I got very sad and I just loved the nice backdoor I had. It even worked by just turning the key. They used a sledge hammer on the door and couldn't get in so then the sledged
the door knob and dead bolt. So Sad. We only lost a saw and table Pa had in the basement everything else seem in tack. Three times and out!

My girls are here!

Maybe they are Kathy's girls, but today they are mine. Katie is feeling better because she is now upright. Lolo is at the movies with Lindsey and Katie is with me. We now have water and I do not know what will happen next but I think I can handle it. I booked my airplane ticket to Austin so get prepared Kelly we are on our way through Nashville (That's so neet we will have lunch with Katie. The Blackberry House is close to having a bathroom, yea. Oh yes tomorrow I will have to go to the Pony house and tell them again that the pony has to go. We shoot league tomorrrow night and the Saturday shoot is the union shoot again. Excited. I'm shooting good right now as I was one bird better than Pa on Tuesday night. On Ward ps

What a day. Katie arrived to help on the Blackberry House. But I had some work to do and a
appointment to keep for Gramma Brown in Ashtabula so Katie helped me at home. She had
a headache most of the day. We went into the Blackberry House and Painted the wains coating
last night. It took a lot longer than we thought. It looks good but we forgot to paint the
trim. OH WELL!

It is the week we had hoped to have Kelly and the girls here. We are sad they didn't come
it is so hot 80 degrees they would have loved the cool weather and it is our hottest weather
so far. One thing I know before we move into the Blackberry house it will have a new furnace
and air conditioning.

I'm a Champion

Today was a busy day! I worked and went shopping for the blackberry house and then we went
shooting. I won lady with a 47 and pa took third with a 48 in Veterans Class.

It would have been all okay but I lost a big part of my front tooth. Now I'll be calling the dentist.

Onward to tomorrow! Can't wait to see what that has in store for me.

My Pony Story Continues

Oh I got a call from Ashtabula Township that animals are not allowed in the subdivision where the pony lives. So he faxed me the rules and I had to deliver the bad news to the renters. Good news—I got my car back, so Lolo road with me to the pony house.

After delivering the bad news, the tears just rolled down the little girls face. She didn't say anything; the tears just rolled. Lolo and I had a few tears on the way home ourselves. They asked me the name of the lady that complained, and like a dummy I told them. The saga continues!

The complaint lady called and wanted me to return her call, but Dad said I shouldn’t. The renters went and saw her, and they told her how crushed the little girl was. They asked her to reverse her complaint. (Now she feels - like what she is) So, tomorrow she is calling the township, but I am sure it is too late.

The lesson of this story is before you bitch know what your doing and to whom. (Also don't judge a book by its cover.)

LOLO IS A GREAT PAINTER

WELL LOLO AND I FINISHED THE PAINTING IN THE BATHROOM TODAY! WHAT A GREAT JOB WE DID. WELL SHE DID!! DO MAKE A GREAT BOSS? NOW IT'S UP TO HER AND PA TOMORROW AS I HAVE TO GO BACK TO WORK. YEA (REST).

I LET MY NEW RENTERS HAVE A PONY AT ONE OF MY RENTALS AND THE NEIGHBORS ARE COMPLAINING THE NEXT DAY AS WELL AS PA. HOW COULD I TELL A LITTLE GIRL THAT SHE COULDN'T HAVE A PONY. IT JUST WASN'T IN MY BLOOD.

I MIGHT GET MY CAR BACK TOMORROW, I HOPE.

LOLO & THE BLACKBERRY HOUSE

OH, HOW HARD WE'VE BEEN WORKING! MY KNEES AND BACK HURT AND PA'S BACK AND FEET HURT ALSO. LAUREN ON THE OTHER HAND IS GETTING BETTER AS AFTER CHEER LEADING TRAINING SHE COULD HARDLY WALK AND MEGAN WAS JUST AS BAD. THEY KNOW HOW WE FEEL.

OUR WORK IS STARTING TO SHOW. MAYBE SOMEDAY WE WILL GET IT DONE. WE STARTED TO PICK BLACKBERRIES FOR A PIE; BUT, AGAIN THE MOSQUITO'S WON AND WE SETTLED FOR BLACKBERRY TOPPING ON ICE CREAM. LAUREN SAID MOSQUITO'S DO NOT BITE HER. (SHE WAS WRONG ON THAT ONE)

MEGAN AND LAUREN HAD BEAR BURGERS AND FRENCH FRIES. THEY LIKED THEM. WELL IT IS LATE SO I GUESS I'LL GO TO BED.
